What do you eat when you don’t feel like eating anything?  Here it is.  Beautiful.  Simple.  Healthy.  Comforting.  DELICIOUS!

Ingredients

Oatmeal

    Directions

    Step 1

    Bring 4 cups of water to the boil in a Dutch oven or pot.

    Step 2

    Pour in 1 cup of uncooked oatmeal. Lower the heat to simmer. Stir often for about 30 minutes until the water is absorbed and the oatmeal is cooked through.

    Step 3

    Spoon some oatmeal in a bowl. Add a pat of butter. Add some brown sugar. Add some fruit on the top! Add whatever you want, toasted almonds, toasted coconut, nuts, honey, etc. Pour a generous amount of heavy cream in the bowl and eat while hot!
