I've been working on perfecting my rendition of Pad Thai, so a trip to the Asian Market was called for. I found the most wonderful Chinese apples - they were crisp, sweet and thin skinned. The seafood and meats seemed exotic to ME...and there were all sorts of beautiful vegetables and fruits, along with duck and quail eggs, fresh noodles and endless rows of canned Asian sauces and pastes. Plus woks, steamers, chopsticks... I could have spent the day there!
