WHEN HANDLED PROPERLY, IT MAKES THE PERFECT BACKGROUND FOR STRONG ELEMENTS LIKE BLUE CHEESE, 1000 ISLAND DRESSING, CANNED OR FRESH ASPARAGUS, CHEESES, ONIONS, ETC. MAKE SURE YOU PULL OFF THE LIMP OUTER LEAVES, THEN RINSE OR SOAK IN ICE WATER AND SPIN DRY. A SALAD SPINNER IS ONE MY FAVORITE KITCHEN TOOLS BECAUSE CRISP DRY LETTUCE LEAVES MAKE A GREAT SALAD.
