A Royal Doulton 6 1/2 inch character mug.  Royal Doulton produced character mugs beginning in the 1930s and sold new designs up until 2011.  This mug is a rare double faced mug with Samson one side and Delilah on the other.  These mugs are great collector items.  They make great table art and they’re terrific vases for dinner parties when you want to be sure you can see over the flower arrangement.
