Grand Calcaire Chablis 2022 1er Cru Vaucoupin

I really liked this wine! I opened this while I was grilling a prime tomahawk pork chop and making German fries. Honestly, I think it would have been perfect with anything… it was very easy to drink… very lemony and nutty and honey-ish which invited me to open a can of honeyed pecans for dessert along with some chocolate dipped dried pineapple. I really thought the wine showed up for dessert even more than it did before! This wine had a champagne like quality to it (crispy, toasty) which is probably why I think you could drink it with anything at all. Decanter magazine says 2022 is a good year for Chablis. I am definitely going back to Total Wine for more of this.
