This is a tiny take out restaurant in the ‘hood with a tiny kitchen, very good service and delicious food. If you are expecting the familiar tastes of Chinese-American restaurant food, with fresh ingredients, crispy fried proteins, and tasty sauces you will love this place. Look at that compact galley kitchen! These guys know what they are doing. There are no dining tables here; this is strictly a take-out place. You can order on the phone and schedule a pickup that is hot, made to order and absolutely delicious. They are open 7 days a week and even on Christmas Day which is nice if your mother is 93 years old and only wants to play Scrabble and eat what she calls The General’s Toes on December 25th! Over the years, as this cute little boy has gotten older, the food also has improved vastly in my opinion. Located in the same strip mall as Tuk Tuk Thai, this is a neighborhood gem. The egg rolls have a traditionally thick-ish wrapper and are fried perfectly (not soggy!) The vegetable fried rice is delicious and has that smoky taste that you can only get from a smoking hot wok and an expert wok-master. There’s a wonderful opportunity for vegetarian dining here, but dishes featuring battered shrimp or chicken (served with sauce on the side) are also excellent. You can order a feast and eat at home while you binge-watch your latest obsession. That’s a good thing!
