What a romantic little restaurant on Maple Street in New Orleans! The menu is classic French bistro with mussels, escargot, duck, rack of lamb, etc., and PIZZA! I have not tried the pizza yet but the people who ordered one behind me loved theirs (and it looked delicious). The ambience is friendly, slight rustic, with inviting aromas coming from the kitchen, energetic staff and good lighting. And the food was very, very, very good… everything you could ask for in a charming neighborhood bistro. Totally unpretentious, the avocado salad with a peppery vinaigrette was as simple as it was perfect. My chops were cooked perfectly and the peachy sauce on the duck was exactly what it should have been. I highly recommend this little place, and hope to return soon!
