This is a neighborhood restaurant (600 Veterans Blvd., where Shirley’s restaurant used to be), and I’ve been eating lunch there at least once a week since it opened. I do love this place, in large part because the wait people are nice, the food is very good and it’s on the way to my office. But I have experienced some inconsistency. In my opinion, the best bets are the lo mein, crispy noodles, spicy dumplings and chicken lettuce wraps. I find the hot and sour soup disappointing. On the other hand, the salt crusted shrimp is really, really, really (three reallies) good. The service is fast and friendly, a perfect lunch spot.
