I haven’t been this nervous watching a movie since Private Ryan. The movie is about a Navy Seal platoon in Iraq in 2006, desperately trying to survive an ambush during the Battle of Ramadi. It is the most realistic war movie I personally have ever seen, and it was hard to watch and yet impossible not to. The movie is based on the memories of the soldiers who were there, and actually co-directed by one of them (Ray Mendoza). The other director is Alex Garland who directed Civil War (2024), also a thought provoking movie about the potential for a political meltdown in this country. I highly recommend this one but be prepared for a spike in your blood pressure.
