Tenuta de Corleone (2023)

This was recommended to me at Dorignac’s as a good accompaniment to pizza. I liked this wine. It was juicy with an acidity and minerality that made it a very easy and pleasant wine to drink. There is zero oak influence as this organic biodynamic wine was aged in cement! It is 100% Sangiovese and while it was good with my pizza, I would like to try it with some lamb chops next time. One on-line reviewer said he could drink this wine every Tuesday night. Yep, that’s about right.
