Ok, well, let me say first, I have been on this boat trip before. Gerry takes me down the coast to a little ocean front restaurant where they bring out the fish on a platter and you choose the one you want. The choices are: small, large and larger. I took the large fish and Gerry took the larger one. And although it was amazingly delicious and fresh, it really wasn’t as amazing as Chef Maurice’s fish that I ate at Jamaica Inn the night before. But as usual I enjoyed taking a ride in Gerry’s boat and spending an afternoon on the water. Aside from losing my hat (!), it was a great day. When I got back, Stretch made a Planter’s Punch for me… his recipe is a bit different from mine and he tells me I need the Myer’s dark and spicy rum to give it the right depth of flavor.
