I made it ! Back to my favorite place on earth. The weather is HOT. So much so that I am slathering sun screen on myself and limiting my time in the sun. Everything is the same as you can see from the pictures. But while I’m blogging, I want to make a new introduction: Peanut Too! is a new addition to my pack and he’ll be joining us next week when my vacation is over. Dolly Parton has been gone since April, and I have decided not to blog about the details because it was too sad. But I feel like Karma sent me this little chihuahua who shares the same name as my Mom’s companion. Unlike the little pittie who had been so mistreated before she came to me, this dog has been well-loved. He’s an older dog whose owner passed away and so he wound up with the hospice nurse for a while before he found a foster home. I am told he loves to sing! I can’t wait to get home (well, actually, I would like to stay here forever). But when I do get home, Peanut Too! will be there waiting for me.
