WHO DOESN’T LOVE A GOOD BURGER???

    Directions

    Step 1

    Make four beef patties by shaping each one into a larger-than-golfball size sphere. Place on platter while you heat the grill.

    Step 2

    Put a cast iron skillet or griddle on the gas grill. Heat the grill to high, until the internal temp is over 500 degrees. Lid closed.

    Step 3

    Open lid. Put patties on skillet. Smush them down with a larger black skillet until they are really thin and sizzling on the hot griddle.

    Step 4

    Cook two minutes. Flip. Cook a few more minutes. These don't take long.

    Step 5

    With a metal spatula, remove the patties to an oven proof platter. Put a mound of cheese on one, and put the other patty on top, like a sandwich. Put in 350 degrees oven for a few minutes to melt the cheese.

    Step 6

    Serve on warm, soft bun with mayo and everything else!
